Due to the COVID-19 pandemic many local nonprofit organizations were forced to cancel their annual fundraising events. The organizations rely heavily on these events to support their cause and budget. While some were fortunate to be able to move to a virtual experience, many could not. Our nonprofit organizations are also struggling due to an overall decrease in giving. With the directory we’ve compiled below, you can find ways to donate to local nonprofits that need it the most during this uncertain time.
Kan Du GroupSupport for Those with Developmental Disabilities
Kan Du Group started making face masks to help members of the communities we serve be safer when in public. We are very excited to have had the opportunity to donate our masks. This project has given us many new skills including entrepreneurial skills selling our product. To continue this project, we need cotton fabric and 7/8″ grosgrain ribbon donations. Kan Du Group’s mission is to promote the independence and employability of adults with developmental disabilities, while providing an atmosphere to learn, communicate and connect.
